Srinagar, Feb 07 (KNS): Former finance minister and senior National Conference leader Abdul Rahim Rather has expressed serious concern over the sufferings caused to the general public due to heavy snowfall in the valley in general and in upper reaches of district Budgam in particular.

Rather has impressed upon the State administration to swing into action and take up the work of snow clearance urgently so that life is brought back to normal without any loss of time. He added that those who generally exploit the masses in such situations should be kept under check and surveillance. (KNS)
