Srinagar, Oct 18 (KNS): PDP General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir expressed deep pain and sorrow over the death of Zahid Bhat who was attacked in Udhampur. Mir said that "it's a very sad day for humanity that we have lost one innocent son to the senseless violence".
PDP condoles the death of Zahid Ahmad Bhat in strongest terms possible and stands with the family in this hour of grief" He said in a statement to KNS.
Terming his death a setback to the basic principles of humanity Mir said that tolerance and harmony are the fundamentals of every society but over some time such acts of violence designed by communal fanatics have taken place and this must stop.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelMir said that the people of Kashmir are genuinely outraged over this incident but there is a need to maintain harmony and mourn his death peacefully in order to defeat such communal forces and bring an end to this violence. He urged the government to bring justice to the family by severely punishing those involved in the case and setting a precedence for those instigating violence on communal lines. (KNS)
