Jammu, Dec 12 (KNS):  Rafi Ahmad Mir ,Vice Chairman JKTDC today chaired a meeting of officials at corporate headquarters in Jammu to streamline affairs of the corporation and look into the process of regularisation of casual workers in JKTDC.Secretary Tourism and Managing Director JKTDC Sarmad Hafeez , besides other officials attended the meeting.
On directions of the Chief Minister , a meeting was conveyed where the Vice Chairman directed officials to speed up the process of regularisation of causal employees. Mir asked the officers to consolidate the list of pending litigation of JKTDC properties and MD was asked to coordinate with the Advocate General of the state to clear the same on priority basis.He also sought formulation of service rules for the corporation to facilitate the process of induction of employees in transparent and legal manner.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Mir said that Chief Minister wants to streamline the affairs of corporation and every officer should work dynamically towards pending issues that also includes clearing dues towards the corporation from other departments. It includes includes Home department , Estates and also the Defence Ministry.
Mir also reviewed the preparations for promotion of tourism in upcoming travel marts across the country and sought details of financial health of the corporation. Financial Advisor, DGMs Administration & Operations, General Manager Operations and the Law officer were also present. (KNS)
