Srinagar July 8 (KNS) : Former MLA and Apni Party General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir has called upon the District Administration Anantanag and sought facilities to devotees for special prayers on Eid-ul-Azha at the shrine of Hazrat Zainuddin Wali Sahib's (RA) at Ashmuqam. He also urged the concerned authorities to facilitate devotees in and around Sallar Tehsil and make necessary arrangements for Eid prayers.
He urged the administration to stand duty bound to ensure hassle free observance of Eid by providing water supply, electricity and other basic amenities.
Besides this, Mir also called upon Food and Supplies Department to ensure that no hoarding or black marketing of goods is carried out and at the same time the government approved rate list should be followed throughout.
"Food & Supplies department should act on the complaints of improper distribution of ration among the consumers at some of the places and ensure deployment of market checking squads to ensure dissemination of quality products as per the set rate list by the administration"(KNS)
