Srinagar, Oct 1: Chairman Jammu Kashmir Democratic Liberation Party (DLP), Hashim Qureshi Thursday criticised state government for “failing” to rehabilitate the flood victims of Kashmir and releasing bills of contractors.
In a statement issued to KNS, he said despite 13 months have passed since last year’s deluge left lakhs of people devastated BPD- PDP government was yet to rehabilitate flood victims.
“Government has failed to rehabilitate people, businessmen, industrialists and others hit by the floods. Government has even failed to release the bills of contractors who are important part of the development of the state,” he alleged.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said that bills of tourism related contractors were pending with the government from past 3 years, which has affected and hit contractors and their families utmost.
“Such policies are anti people and not only affects contractors but also the tourism sector as well,” he said.
Qureshi stressed that pending bills of contractors must be released at the earliest. (KNS)
