Srinagar, Dec 23 (KNS): The incarcerated Chairman of Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Shabir Ahmad Shah on Wednesday paid glowing tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah (RA) on his 139th birth anniversary saying his name will always be remembered and the Muslim ummah will never forget its well-wisher leader.
In a statement to KNS, Shabir Ahmad Shah said: "Under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam (RA), the Muslims of subcontinent demanded a separate nation and pledged to secure the religious, cultural and civilization identity of Muslims. He fulfilled the dream of Allama Iqbal (RA) of a separate nation for Muslims and made it clear that minorities particularly Muslims are not safe and secure in the united India."

Shah said the people of Pakistan must go through as to how the Quaid-e-Azam led the Muslims of subcontinent and infused a spirit of courage and hope in them and how he changed the destiny of the subcontinent.
"The character of Quaid-e-Azam (RA) with regard to freedom struggle is an example for us and if we will exhibit same courage, velour and steadfastness and fight with same zeal and vigor, then the dawn of freedom will be near," Shah added. (KNS)
