Srinagar, Mar 12 (KNS): Regretting the loss of lives on Sadhna Top road accident, People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader Ab.Qayoom Wani has said the loss of precious human lives in such road accidents was painfull and shocking.
In a statement issued to KNS, Wani castigated the government for not taking the vulnerability of roads like Karnah and Jammu -Srinagar highway serious resulting in not only hardships to common Kashmiri people but also costing human lives.
He said a long pending demand of a tunnel at Sadhna was a genuine one and he would stress for it.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said the tunnel would be one of his top most priorities and he would ensure that the no human life is consumed to bad road in this hilly area . He also expressed his dismay over "Non serious" approach of government in addressing the national highway issue .
Meanwhile Wani has expressed his condolences to the bereaved families of the accident victims. He has appealed Governor Adminstration to sanction relief to next kin of the deceased. (KNS)
