Srinagar, May 13 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Qayoom Wani strongly condemned the gruesome and brutal rape of a 3 year old girl in Sumbal area of Bandipora district and demanded exemplary punishment to the guilty involved in the shameful incident.
In a statement issued to KNS, Wani said that such shameful, inhuman incidents are sillier on the face of humanity.
Wani termed the incident unfortunate and shocking for the whole humanity especially to the people of Kashmir.
He said that people of Jammu and Kashmir should maintain unity on all fronts to fight against such shameful incidents and urged upon the people of Jammu and Kashmir to launch strong campaign for weeding out social evils from the society .Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Wani expressed heartfelt with the girl child and her grief stricken family.
PDP leader urged upon the Governor administration for fast track trial in the incident so that the culprit may get exemplary punishment without wasting anymore time.
He appealed the people of all sections to maintain peace,harmony and brotherhood at this crucial juncture. (KNS)
