Srinagar, Jun 06 (KNS): President EJAC, Chairman Teachers Forum Ab Qayoom Wani has strongly condemned the illogical and unjustified decision of SPD SSA in which SSA Salary for the month of April has been released as per 6th Pay Commission.
He said that this unfortunate decision speaks the volumes of double standard of the Government towards its own employees working on the same establishment.
In a statement issued to KNS, Wani said that these SSA trs have already taken the benefit of 6th pay commission and other avenues as per rules after regularisation, but Govt. is deliberately creating confusion and are hell bent upon to put the whole teaching fraternity in mental trauma.
He said that debaring a regular employee from any legal benefit is highest kind of violation of civil services rules which will be fought tooth and nail by teaching community.
EJAC president urged upon all CEOs not to release salary of SSA trs nd Head trs as per 6th pay commission until and unless the issue is resolved and formal orders for linking of salaries with State sector is not issued.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Wani said that Teachers Forum has already chalked out a strategy and has given a call for protest at all Distt Head Quarters on 9th June. Wani appealed the teaching fraternity not to be panic.
Teachers Forum will leave no stone unturned till this issue will not be resolved.
Wani also urged upon the Director SSA to issue instructions to all CEOs to keep this release order in abience keeping in view the sentiments of trs. and sensitiveness of the issue.
Wani urged upon the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, Finance Minister Syed Mohd Altaf Bukhari and Education Minister Chowdhary Zulfiqar Ali for their immidiate intervention in resolving the issue. (KNS)
