Kunzer, May 10 (KNS): Mission Director Jammu and Kashmir State Rural Livelihoods Mission (JKSRLM) Dr. G. N. Qasba on Tuesday held an interactive session with SHG members under Project UMEED at Town Hall-Kunzer.
The interactive session was attended by hundreds of the female Self Help Group members of the block Kunzer.
The Mission Director, JKSRLM along with his entire team of officers including Additional Mission Director, Farooq Ahmad Dar, State Resource person Kishore, District Program Manager Adil, District Program Manager Zahida were present on the occasion
BDO Kunzer Showkat Ahmad was also present on the occasion. At the outset, the Block Program Manager, Kunzer Madina Bukhari greeted all the participants and gave a brief introduction about the scheme.
While addressing the huge gathering of the Self Help Group members of the block, Dr Qasba spoke about the scheme and highlighted the benefits that can possibly be accessed by all the female population of the block who have been/ are being enrolled under the scheme.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Dr Qasba expressed his pleasure on witnessing the enthusiasm emanated by the SHG members and appreciated the Block Program Management Unit Kunzer for the overall performance. Additional Mission Director, Farooq Ahmad also shared the stage and spoke about the highlights of the scheme. Mr Farooq expressed his contentment on observing the active participation of the local SHG members.
Pertinently, block Kunzer is the second block of the district Baramulla which has recently been covered under the -State Rural Livelihood Mission SRLM popularly known as Project Umeed. (KNS)
