Handwara, Jan 15 (KNS): The Qalamabad Traders Association General Secretary on Saturday appealed to shopkeepers to follow the directions implemented by the administration strictly to avoid the infection of COVID-19.

In a statement issued to KNS, General Secretary of Trade Body Raja Akber said that all the people associated with the trade in this market are being requested to follow the COVID-19 guidelines consistently.

The General secretary urged the shopkeepers to not to allow any shoppers without face masks.

The general secretary said this hours after the authorities announced a weekly lockdown in the Kashmir valley amid a sudden jump in COVID-19 cases. If any shopkeeper is found violating the COVID-19 norms, he will be responsible for the same. (KNS)
