Srinagar, May 12 (KNS): Senior National Conference (NC) leader, and MLC Qaiser Jamsheed Lone on Saturday toured various areas including Tekipora, Darpora, Dardpora, Khurhama, Maidanpora, Wavoora, Kalaroose, Machhil, Hyhama and other areas of Lolab constituency of north Kashmir’s district Kupwara.
While interacting with general public in these areas, Lone as per the statement issued to KNS was told that Rural Development Department J&K, in recent past has broken all the records of corruption and nepotism, while ignoring all guidelines instead of deserving people the MGNREGA works stand allotted to blue-eyed contractors who draw bills from state exchequer repeatedly for same work under different nomenclatures after changing the shape and size of previously existing works against fake Job cards and of minor children .Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“The people through Lone strongly appealed the Govt to conduct a thorough probe in the MGNREGA scam through independent agencies to nab the culprits involved in,” the statement added.
During this visit, scores of PDP workers joined NC in presence of Qaiser Lone, who wholeheartedly welcomed them to the party fold. (KNS)
