Srinagar October 13 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference District President Kupwara Qaiser Jamsheed Lone on Thursday visited noted Kashmiri Islamic scholar, founder and rector of Darul Uloom Raheemiyyah, Rehmatullah Mir Qasmi Sb.

Lone visited the Islamic seminary at Bandipore and expressed solidarity with the noted scholar in view of the recent NIA raids on his residence. “Intimidation of religious scholars is unjustified. Having a global standing, Qasmi sahib is known for his social service. A peacenik, his commitment towards communal harmony and social work remains unparalleled,” he said. (KNS)
