Srinagar, Mar 08 (KNS): Congress leader Kadfeen Choudhary on Friday has urged the governor administration to take up the issue related to the security of Kashmiris in other states of India and said that the state authorities are duty bound to restore sense of security among the people.
In a statement issued to KNS, Kadfeen said that the series of episodes which were witnessed in various states of the country in the recent past have made the people of Kashmir worried especially the business and the student community presently putting up in many cities and towns of the country. “The goons who are out to launch a smear campaign against the people of Kashmir shouldn’t only be arrested as a mere precautionary measure but they should also be brought to the book and served with exemplary punishment at an earliest,” Kadfeen said.
The Congress leader addd that those at the helm must understand that country’s strength lies in its unity and diversity and if attempts are made to create wedge between the communities, the coming time is only going to be dreadful and apocalyptic.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He added that there is a dire need to make unanimous efforts by the people of all faiths irrespective of the political ideologies and considerations to address the woes of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and soothe their sufferings. “The people of the state need constant healing and earnest efforts from the country in order to overcome the hurdles put in the way of their growth by decades of uncertainty, mayhem and chaos. Harmony and tolerance is the only antidote of the poison of polarisation that the vested interests are hell-bent to spread all across,” Kadfeen said. (KNS)
