Srinagar, Oct 12 (KNS): A former member of Jamaat-e-Islami and a highly regarded figure in the social and political landscape of Pulwama, Dr Talat Majeed, joined Apni Party today along with scores of his supporters.
According to a statement, they joined the party in the presence of the party president, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, and other senior party leaders during a special event at the party headquarters in Srinagar.
On this occasion, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari extended a gracious welcome to the new entrants, assuring them of unwavering support from the entire party leadership as they embark on their mission to serve the people in their respective areas.
He also promised them that Apni Party would provide a reliable platform for these new members to contribute to the pursuit of peace, prosperity, and development in Jammu and Kashmir. (KNS)
