Pulwama December 7th, 2020(KNS): On a specific tip off, Pulwama Police conducted a swift raid at the residential house of one individual namely Latief Ahmad Rather son of Mohd Anwar Rather resident of Frasipora Pulwama and seized 75 Kgs of Poppy Straw packed in four large bags, which was to be sold to the youth of the area and for yielding criminal proceeds.

Police party was headed by S M Shafi-JKPS, Dy SP Headquarters Pulwama under the able guidance of Ashish Mishra - IPS, Superintendent of Police Pulwama.
To this effect Case FIR No 282/20, U/Sec 8/15 NDPS Act has been registerd at Police Station Pulwama and matter is being further investigated to nip the evil from the bud. Pulwama Police has been hailed widely by the locals and respectable citizens of the district for tightening noose around the drug peddlers.

Police has a robust plan in place to uproot the drug menace from the folds of society and is desperately looking forward to have cooperation from the public in eradicating drug menace(KNS).
