Budgam, Mar 12 (KNS): Several public issues related to roads, schools, health facilities and other basic services were raised during an Awami Darbar held by the district administration at Khansahab in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district, Deputy Commissioner Athar Aamir Khan said on Thursday.
He said the administration has taken note of the grievances and directions have been issued to the concerned departments to address issues that can be resolved at the district level with available resources.
Khan said demands such as the construction of playgrounds, additional classrooms in schools, upgradation of hospital infrastructure and improvement in road connectivity would be included in the upcoming development plan.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said issues requiring intervention at the government level would also be taken up with the authorities concerned.
The deputy commissioner added that the administration will conduct a fresh survey of unused or incomplete government buildings in the district to ensure their repair and proper utilisation.
He said several health centres and agriculture offices are currently functioning from rented buildings and efforts will be made to shift them to available government infrastructure.(KNS).
