Budgam, Feb 07 (KNS): District Development Commissioner Budgam, Mir Altaf Ahmed, today conducted a public grievances redressal camp at DIET Beerwah to get first hand appraisal of public issues and grievances.
Officials of Police, R&B, PDD, PMGSY, PHE, I&FC, and other concerned Departments, besides, members of civil society of the area also participated.
During the camp, locals raised issues like repair of roads, water supply, proper medicare, working of Anganwari centre, ration supply, power, veterinary facility for cattle, and other related issues.

The PDD authorities were directed to undertake repair of damaged poles and replace barbed wires at the earliest for which necessary allotment has already been made. He also directed the PHE authorities to submit the DPR for Aripanthan Water Supply and R&B officials were directed to start work on Budgam-Beerwah road at the earliest. (KNS)
