Srinagar, Feb 16 (KNS): Srinagar Mayor Junaid Azim Mattu today visited SMHS hospital to see a critically wounded son of the owner of popular food Joint Krishna Dhaba located in Sonwar.

The victim, Akash Mehra  who was shot at yesterday evening got critically wounded and was immediately rushed to SMHS Hospital.

Medical Superintendent  Doctor Nazir Hussain Chowdhary  informed Mayor that the patient’s  condition was getting stable adding that the doctors were still monitoring his condition.

Mattu directed the concerned to provide every possible aid to the patient and constantly monitor  his health condition.

While meeting the family members of the victim,  Mattu expressed his heart felt sympathies  to the victim and his father and assured every possible help that may  be  required from his end.

Mayor further expressed sadness  to hear about the tragic attack on the Krishna Dhaba owner's son"this is totally unacceptable  and I hope and pray that the injured person makes a speedy recovery," he said. (KNS)
