Srinagar, Oct 25 (KNS): Life is refusing to return to normalcy in Islamabad district as residents, including women, Sunday protested, despite rain, against the arrest of over a dozen youth by police from the past week after the area erupted against Zahid Rasool Bhat’s killing.
Reports said that youth and women today grouped at Mattan chowk demanding release of the youth.
The protesters raised slogans against the Mufti-led government and police.

Deputy Commissioner Anantnag Muneer ul Isalm told KNS that he will look into why the people have started protests again.
Peer Mohammad Hussain, Wakf Vice Chairman, and also from the district told KNS that he appeals the police and the district administration to release the youth as early as possible so that the town returns to normal after two-weeks of abnormality. (KNS)
