Srinagar, Jun 10 (KNS): A group of protesters on Wednesday held a demonstration outside the United Nations office here, condemning the reported killings of civilians in Muzafarabad.
The protesters urged the international community and the United Nations to take cognisance of the situation and ensure accountability for the reported deaths.
According to a statement issued by the organisers, the protest was peaceful and aimed at drawing global attention to the reported incidents in Muzafarabad.
The protesters appealed to international human rights bodies and the UN to take appropriate steps to address their concerns, the statement said.(KNS).
