Srinagar, May 16 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir administration has re-appointed Prof. Nilofer Khan as the Vice Chancellor of the University of Kashmir for a period of two years. Her new term will begin on May 19, 2025.
The order was issued by the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat in exercise of the powers vested in the Chancellor, Manoj Sinha, under Section 12(5) of the Kashmir and Jammu Universities Act, 1969.

Copies of the order have been sent to key government officials, including the Chief Secretary, Financial Commissioner, and the Registrar of the University of Kashmir.
