Priya Sethi inaugurates Ayush Medical Camp, emphasizes significance of Ayurveda in daily life

JAMMU, SEP 21 (KNS): Priya Sethi, National Executive Member and former Minister, inaugurated an Ayush Medical camp in Chand Nagar area of Jammu today.
 
During the camp, Dr Harbaksh Singh and Dr Shifali Sharma examined nearly 372 patients and provided Ayurvedic medicines to the needy patients. The medical camp was organised as a part of Sewa Pakhwada in connection with PM Modi’s birthday.
 
Speaking on the occasion, Priya Sethi shed light on the importance of Ayurveda in day-to-day life and stressed the need to promote it not only in India but also globally. She highlighted that more than 30 countries have recognized Ayurveda as a traditional medicine system, indicating the growing acceptance and popularity of this ancient healing practice. She expressed her desire to further promote Ayurveda in every country around the world, acknowledging the significant role it plays in not just treatment but also overall wellness.
 
Drawing attention to the global trend of returning to traditional medicine, Sethi stated that Yoga and Ayurveda are the new hope for the world. She affirmed the commitment of the Ayush Ministry to incorporate Ayush health systems into the daily lives of common people, both through strengthening healthcare systems and integrating Ayurveda into the education sector.
 
With the rapid advancements in the Ayush sector, Priya Sethi expressed her belief that, under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India's Azadi ka Amrit Kaal will transform into 'Ayush Ka Amrit Kaal'.
She hoped that the Ayush Medical camp will mark a significant step towards creating awareness about Ayurveda and integrating it into the mainstream healthcare system. She said that the camp is expected to provide valuable services and treatments to the local community, encouraging them to embrace Ayurveda as a holistic approach to health.
