Srinagar, Nov 29 (KNS): A private security guard died while a labour was found in an unresponsive state in a private hut in Mahyem area of Tangmarg on Wednesday, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Riyaz Ahmad Hajjam, son of Muhammad Abdullah Hajjam of Raazeen Kanihama while a labour who was found unconscious was identified as Ahmad Lone, son of Ghulam Qadir Lone of Kahipora Tangmarg.
Talking to KNS, Station House Officer (SHO) Sadat Ali “The persons were found in an unresponsive state and were shifted to Tangmarg hospital where doctors declare Riyaz Ahmad brought dead,” he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said that a labour was immediately referred to Srinagar’s hospital for specialized treatment.
Sadat said that it may be a case of asphyxiation. “We have registered a case under number 174 CrPc in this regard,” he said, adding that the investigation is ongoing. (KNS)
