‘Deceased was a noble lady’

Srinagar, Dec 10 (KNS): Private Schools’ Association of Kashmir (PSAK) today expressed their profound condolence on the demise of Mrs Dr Shafi who was the sister of Chairman New Convent School Iqbal Beg and former Commissioner/Secretary Habib ul Hassan. The deceased was the daughter of renowned author and poet late Mirza Arif Beig.
The deceased was a noble lady and had retired as a teacher in the department of education.
A delegation of Private Schools' Association led by G N Var and other members GN Parray, MY Manzar, Shabir Ahmad Mir, Tariq Ahmad, Ashaq Masoodi, Rauf Zargar, Khurshid Mahajan, Ab Hamid, Raja Owais, Altaf Gowhar and other dignitaries visited the house of deceased as soon as the news reached them. They participated in Namaz-e-Janaza and prayed for the eternal peace to the deceased.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThe association condoled the death and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family. As per family sources the congressional prayers will be held on Wednesday 13th December at 11:30am.
The Association also condoled the demise of Ajaz Ahmad Bhat of New Era Public School Rajbagh who have immensely contributed in the field of education.
Meanwhile, Kashmir News Service (KNS) management condoles the demise of Mrs Dr Shafi who was the sister of Chairman New Convent School Iqbal Beg. The KNS management and staffers including editor in chief, Muhammad Aslam Bhat expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul. (KNS)
