Srinagar, June 04 (KNS): President of the All Jammu & Kashmir Shia Association, Molvi Imran Ansari, has extended heartfelt greetings to the Muslim Ummah on the auspicious occasion of Eid-e-Ghadeer, one of the most significant events in Islamic history.
Recalling the historic gathering at Ghadeer Khumm, he said that the day marks the moment when the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) declared: “For whoever I am his Mawla, Ali is also his Mawla.” He said Eid-e-Ghadeer is a reminder of the values of faith, justice, leadership, compassion, unity, and service to humanity as embodied by the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Hazrat Imam Ali (AS).
Molvi Ansari further referred to the Quranic verse, “Today I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and chosen Islam as your religion” (Quran 5:3), stating that Eid-e-Ghadeer carries a timeless message of unity, brotherhood, mutual respect, and adherence to the principles of truth and justice.

Paying tribute to Ayatullah Sayyid Ali Khamenei (RA), he said that his lifelong dedication to Islam, resistance against oppression, and unwavering commitment to the cause of the Muslim Ummah have inspired millions across the world. He added that his guidance, vision, and steadfast support for the oppressed will continue to remain a source of inspiration for future generations.
On this blessed occasion, Molvi Ansari offered special prayers for peace, dignity, and justice for the people of Iran, Palestine and Lebanon. He prayed for the safety, prosperity, and unity of the Muslim Ummah and for lasting peace and stability across the world.
