Srinagar, Jan 05 (KNS): While terming the Indo-Pak present dialogue process as a futile exercise, Chairman All Parties Hurriyat Conference Syed Ali Geelani said that India in one breath talks about the dialogue and in another breath they term the Kashmir as integral part of India.
Speaking at a seminar held at Geelani said this rigidity have neither gained them in the past nor will it benefit them in the future. He said that India is participating in dialogues just to buy time and she has no interest in the resolution of the disputes.
In a statement to KNS, the spokesman said that many prominent speakers presented their view point over the topic “UN Resolution – Basis of Kashmir Issue” the seminar was chaired by Chairman Hurriyat Syed Ali Geelani and the other speakers who spoke on the occasion include Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai, Agha Sayed Hassan, Advocate Mian Abdul Qayoom, Mohammad Abdullah Tari, Ghulam Nabi Sumji and Abdul Majeed Zargar while as Hurriyat spokesman Ayaz Akbar performed the duties of the dice incharge.
The other pro-freedom leaders who were present in the seminar include Ghulam Ahmad Gulzar, Mohammad Shafi Lone, Mohammad Saleem Zargar, Zamrooda Habib, Yasmeen Raja, Mohammad Rafiq Ganai, Mohammad yaseen Attaai, Peer Saifullah, Raja Mehraj-ud-din, Altaf Ahmad Shah, Mohammad Yousuf Mujahid, Ameer Hamza Shah and Mir Hafizullah.
While signaling for boycotting the upcoming local bodies’ elections, Geelani said that India projects our votes in international forums as a justification for his illegal occupation in Jammu & Kashmir and is trying to present it as an alternative of the referendum. He said that the participation of people in the voting process lengthens our journey to freedom and it is also an insult to our precious sacrifices.
Terming all the pro-Indian parties like NC, PDP, PC, Congress as equal and same, Hurriyat chairman said that the most blamed party for the slavery of Kashmiris is NC and this party betrayed the people of Kashmir in 1938 when Muslim Conference was converted into National Conference and Sheikh Sahab extended friendship hand towards the Nehru Sahab.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelPandith Nehru was a wicked politician who backstabbed and deceived Kashmiris. He at first made huge claims and promises with the Kashmiri people and later on he backtracked from his promises and showed a cunning face to the Kashmiri people.
While criticizing the ruling pro-Indian party PDP, Geelani uttered a famous Kashmiri proverb “Kouli Khute Koul Saard” (this party proved worst than the former). He said that these people asked votes from the people in the name of “Change” but we had cautioned the public that time that no change is possible till the Indian forced occupation is here. Today your are witnessing the barbarism, arrests, innocent killings, search operations and illegal detentions are continue and unchanged and the entire state has been converted into a major jail. While terming the sectarian hatred as an ulcer in the society, Geelani said that Shia and Sunni both believe in one God (Allah), one Book (holy Quran), one Prophet (Prophet Muhammad pbuh), the day of Judgment (Resurrection) and both the groups believe the other former Prophets in Islam and their respective Books. We can have differences on auxiliary issues and the course of actions but we cannot issue fatwas against each other over these auxiliary matters.
While commenting over the internal situations in Pakistan and the world, Geelani said that ISIS, Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan and other like groups does not represent Islam. Daesh is the terrorist organization which is killing the innocent people and the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan is weakening Pakistan internally. They are cutting the same branch of the tree over which they are standing. Geelani said that our struggle is not any communal movement and nor is this any fight between Hindus and Muslims but it is war between oppression and oppressed and this war will finally be won by us Inshah-Allah.
