Handwara Sep 5 (KNS):  Residents of various villages in Mawer Handwara have voiced their frustration with telecom operator Jio and Airtel for providing inadequate internet speed in the area. Villages like Umer Abad Lam Audoora, Warpora, Checki Audoora, Drugnsoo, and others have been grappling with sluggish internet connections for several days, causing significant inconvenience to the local population.

Altaf Ahmad, a resident of the area, lamented that the ongoing issue of low-speed internet has made it nearly impossible for them to access essential online services. Despite reaching out to Jio’s and airtel customer cares multiple times, their complaints have gone unanswered, leaving them without a solution.
In light of their mounting grievances, the consumers of these villages are urging the authorities to intervene and compel Jio and Airtel to restore high-speed internet services in the locality.

The lack of efficient internet connectivity not only hampers their access to information but also impedes their ability to engage in online education, work remotely, and stay connected with the wider digital world.
The residents hope that their plea for improved internet services will be heard, as reliable and high-speed internet has become an essential part of daily life, particularly in the wake of increased reliance on digital platforms for various aspects of work, education, and communication.(KNS)
