Srinagar, Sep 22 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the placement of 21 Junior Scale probationers of the 2025 batch of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) at the disposal of various Administrative Departments for further posting.
The order stipulates that it shall be ensured these officers are posted outside their home districts. However, this condition shall not apply to officers appointed to the JKAS on the basis of being residents of Backward Areas or areas adjoining the Line of Actual Control, who shall be posted in their respective areas in terms of sub-section 2 of Section 3 of the J&K Reservation Act, 2004.
To facilitate the drawal of salary, 21 posts of Junior Scale of JKAS have been transferred to the respective Administrative Departments. The order further states that the Junior Scale JKAS officers shall join their allotted departments with immediate effect.
As per the order, Iqra Farooq, Vasudha Sharma, Nadeem Ahmed (RBA) and Shruti R Sharma have been placed at the disposal of the Cooperatives Department, while Afiya Javaid and Tushar Mahajan have been allotted to the Employment Department.

Akanksha Sharma and Ayush Abrol have been posted to the Handicrafts and Handloom Department. Sakshi Parihar, Ghulam Jallani (ALC), Wikas Bin Hassan (RBA) and Hameem Akhter (RBA) have been allotted to the Industries and Commerce Department.
Manpreet Kour (SC) and Sumit Kumar Kaith (SC) have been placed in the Revenue Department, while Muneeb Afzal Parrah (PHC), Manik Gandhi (SC), Priyanka Sharma (EWS) and Waqar Ahmed (ST) have been allotted to the Rural Development Department.
Ishrat Hussain (ST), Sajad Ahmad Lone (EWS) and Sunali Verma (EWS) have been placed at the disposal of the Social Welfare Department, the order stated. (KNS)
