Srinagar, Jul 12 (KNS): Member of Parliament (MP) and senior congress leader, Dr. Karan Singh on Tuesday said that political discussions between all political parties and stake holders involved in Jammu and Kashmir should be initiated.
In a statement issued to KNS, Singh said that the political discussions between all political parties and stake holders involved in Jammu and Kashmir from all the three regions including the separatists should be initiated without undue delay.
“The multiple dimensions of Jammu and Kashmir need to be addressed urgently in an integrated and imaginative manner,” he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Meanwhile, Singh said that the events in the Kashmir valley over the last few days resulting in injuries and loss of many valuable young lives including security forces have been a matter of concern.
“I appeal to all to prevent trouble from escalating as it has already caused widespread destruction and disturbance of tourist’s traffic which is the life line of Kashmir’s economy,” he said, adding that the ongoing Amar Nath yatra is also a significant event which has also unfortunately been disturbed.
