Srinagar June 17 (KNS): In a significant step towards creating a drug-free society, Police Station Shalteng organized a Debate-cum-Awareness Programme on the theme “Nasha Mukt Bharat” at Government Higher Secondary School Mujgund.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large gathering of students, local youth, and members of the general public. Eminent speakers, including respected Imams, advocates, doctors, and prominent civil society members, addressed the audience and shed light on the devastating impact of drug abuse on individuals, families, and society at large.
The speakers stressed the urgent need for collective responsibility and highlighted the importance of awareness, education, and community participation in eradicating the menace of narcotics.
