Srinagar, Feb 12 (KNS): Police has solved a hit and run case in which a lady had died in Handwara District, by arresting the accused.
On 13-01-2016 an unknown vehicle hit and critically injured a woman identified as Jabeena begum wife of Bashir Ahmed War resident of Bonpora Magam who later on succumbed to her injuries in district hospital Handwara.
In this regard case FIR number 13/2016 under section 299, 337, 304-A was registered and investigation was set into motion.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The investigating team after twenty seven days long strenuous efforts succeeded in tracing the vehicle in question as i-10 Grand under registration no Jk01V 5315. Last evening investigating team succeeded in arresting the accused driver. The vehicle in question has been also seized. (KNS)
