Handwara July 18 (KNS): Continuing its efforts to eradicate inimical elements from the society, police in Handwara register FIR against unauthorized/ unregistered joinery Mill at Dohama Vilgam.

Today, a police party of PS Vilgam initiated legal action against an unauthorized joinery mill at Village Dohama and accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 77/2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Vilgam and investigation has been initiated. The said mill was found to be operational without the relevant permits.

The accused person operating the mill unauthorisedly has been identified as Irshad Ahmad Mir son of Ghulam Mohd Mir resident of Dohama, Vilgam.

Community members are requested to share information regarding inimical elements in their areas, so that strict legal action under law will be initiated against the accused.(KNS)
