Pattan 27 July (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir police Tuesday said it traced out a kidnapped girl within less then 24 hours in Pattan area of North kashmir's Baramulla district.

An official told Kashmir News Service(KNS), that a minor girl was allegedly Kidnapped On Monday late evening from her house in Nilha Palpora area of Pattan.

He said that initially it was assumed that the minor girl was taken away by wild animal, Accordingly A team of Pattan Police rushed to the spot and with help of locals a search operation continued throughout the night but was found nothing they said.

However in a swift action Pattan Police today traced out the minor girl within less then 24 hours of time.

An official confirmed the recovery of Girl to KNS and identified the Kidnapper as Bilal Ahmad Waza son of Mohd Ashraf Waza of Palhallan Pattan who is still absconding he said.

Locals of the area hailed the timely action by pattan Police to trace out the minor.

Meanwhile a Case stands registered in police station Palhallan and further investigation has been taken up. (KNS)
