Srinagar Nov, 5 (KNS): Police Sunday said that it has taken up the investigation in the mysterious death of Qaiser Hameed of Shalimar.
“Police is investigating a case and FIR has been registered vide number 95/2016 under section 309 RPC regarding a boy who was found lying near CIE complex Shalimar with froth oozing from his mouth and succumbed at SKIMS, Soura last evening,” said police spokesperson.
He added that 17 years old Qaiser Hamid son of Abdul Hamid resident of Doodh Mohalla was reportedly missing from 27th October, this year from his home. “On the next his father received a call from a person who identified himself as a private guard working at the CIE complex, Shalimar stating that his son is lying near the CIE complex with some froth oozing from his mouth.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelOn this information, a Police party of police station Nishat along with the relatives of the deceased rushed to the spot and shifted him to SKIMS hospital for treatment,” he added.
“The doctors at SKIMS performed his stomach wash and sample was sent to FSL for analysis to ascertain the nature of the poisonous substance he had consumed. As per the doctors the patient had a history of GTCS (epilepsy). Subsequently the boy succumbed yesterday evening. A case FIR number 95/2016 under section 309 RPC was registered in police station Nishat in this regard,” he said. (KNS)
