Police foils Executive Council meet of Hurriyat (G)

‘Govt surpassed their predecessors in strengthening armed occupation of their masters’

Srinagar, Dec 25 (KNS): Police today foiled the proposed Executive Council meeting of Huriyat Conference (G) scheduled to be held at Hyderpora under the chair of its chairman, Syed Ali Geelani.
Strongly condemning the police action Hurriyat (G) said that this vandalism and high headedness is not surprising and such undemocratic moves are routine in a state ruled by police and armed forces. It is pertinent to mention that after a long pause of six months, meeting of all constituents of Hurriyat Conference was to be convened. But authorities, shrinking and squeezing every bit of space for pro-freedom voices, expectedly sabotaged this meeting.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Lashing out at present government, Hurriyat (G) said that they have surpassed their predecessors in strengthening the armed occupation of their masters and to safeguard their own power they throttle and muzzle every voice which doesn’t sooth them.
Hurriyat (G) said that curbing peaceful political activities speaks volume and it has proved beyond doubt that coalition partners are hand in glow to subjugate the genuine voices of people. (KNS)
