Srinagar, Mar 18 (KNS): Police Friday foiled the protest march of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) activists and detained scores of them when they tried to march towards the commercial hub Lal Chowk.
The activists were protesting against the continuous detention of SAR Geelani, “intimidation of Kashmiri students, use of pellet guns and pepper gas etc against Kashmiris”.

While chanting slogans, the protesters were demanding to stop the usage of pellets, pepper gas and to releases SAR Geelani.
However, police swung into action and detained score of its activist including Showkat Bakhshi and Bashir Kashmiri. (KNS)
