Srinagar, March 09 (KNS): Baramulla police on Thursday felicitated 3 local youth with token of appreciation, momento and cash reward for showing act of bravery in Baramulla town. SSP Baramulla Amod Ashok Nagpure felicitated 3 local youth namely Saqib Ahmad Gojri, Wamiq Parveiz Kullu and Sahil Ahmad War for showing act of bravery while saving 2 precious lives from drowning in river Jhelum at suspension bridge Dewanbagh and Cement Bridge Baramulla in two different incidents.
According to a statement, the youth were felicitated with token of appreciation, momento and cash reward. While interacting with the youth, SSP Baramulla appreciated them for the act of bravery to save precious lives in time.
He further said such act will definitely inspire others to do more good for the society.
SSP Baramulla said that the nation needs more brave hearts like these youth.
The felicitation ceremony was also attended by ASP RK Parihar, DSP DAR Peerzada Aijaz and SHO Baramulla Naveed. (KNS)
