Police facilitates PCPG meeting in Sopore

Sopore, Dec 19 (KNS): As a part of Public outreach programme, Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting was facilitated by Police in Police Station Tarzoo on Sunday. 

The meeting was held on the directions of Superintendent of Police Sopore Sudhanshu Verma-IPS while following social distancing norms and other Covid protocols. 

On the occasion, the meeting was chaired by SDPO Sopore Furqan Qadir-JKPS along with SHO Tarzoo Bilal Khanday and and IC PP Puthkha Sajad Ahmad and other officers. The meeting was attended by citizens including members of Auqaf Committees, Numberdars, Chowkidars, Traders Federation/Fruit Associations of Sopore and its adjacent areas.

During the interaction meeting, participants raised various issues of public importance including counselling of the youth of the areas. The chairing officers listened the grievances patiently and assured them that their genuine grievances will be resolved on priority and every possible help will be provided to the people of the area. 

The participants in the meeting assured their full co-operation to Police and Administration in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely. (KNS)
