'Jan 5 UN resolutions legal base to Kashmir dispute’

Srinagar, Jan 5 (KNS): Jammu Kashmir National Front today claimed that Police stopped its Chairman and Hurriyat leader Nayeem Ahmad Khan from participating in a Hurriyat seminar regarding the resolution of UNSC about Kashmir and placed him under house detention.
Spokesman of Jammu Kashmir National Front in a statement to KNS said that that Kashmir dispute has endangered the peace in South Asia.
Nayeem Ahmad Khan said that the dispute must be resolved according to the United Nation resolutions passed from time to time. He said that January 5, 1949 resolution farms the legal base to Kashmir dispute. Nayeem Ahmad Khan said that instead of implementing the UN resolutions, New Delhi is resorting to deceptive diplomacy and it tries to deceive the world community on one hand and suppress the justice loving Kashmiri people on the other. He said that killing, harassing and abusing Kashmiri unarmed people has become order of the day which has created an atmosphere of fear among the masses. Nayeem Ahmad Khan said that India is now working on an oppressive policy which it has adopted from Israel and which is aimed at targeting the youths.
He strongly condemned the fresh arrest spree and lodging of fabricated cases against the youths in Srinagar, Palhalan, Baramulla, Sopore, Bandipora, Pulwama, Shopian, Islamabad and other parts the valley.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelTerming the arresting of youth as an imperialistic policy of India, Nayeem Ahmad Khan asserted when bloodshed could not stop Kashmiri people from raising their voice New Delhi has decided to attack our new generation. “This policy of India is aimed at spoiling the future of our young generation which is unacceptable,” Nayeem Ahmad Khan said.
He strongly condemned the CRPF statement in which it has denied any hand in the killing of Gowhar Nazir of HMT Zainakote. He said that Indian occupied forces and the so called administration issue statements promising action against the killer personnel when people resort to protests but once protest ends the so called administration and the Indian forces resort to denial policy.
Meanwhile, a National Front Spokesman while strongly condemning the house detention of Nayeem Ahmad Khan said that it only exhibits the frustration of the so called administration. He said, “It is shameful that pro-freedom leadership is barred from participating even in indoor functions.” (KNS)
