Srinagar, Dec 20( KNS): Srinagar Police today said it booked one notorious drug peddler in Shalimar area.
He was identified as Ghulam Rasool Wani @ Raja Puj resident of Meerakabad Shalimar Srinagar under the PSA.

In a statement issued to news agency-kashmir news service (KNS), "The peddler was actively involved in drug peddling in Shalimar- Zakoora- Harwan area and had remained involved in cases under the NDPS Act," police statement said.

"On December 19th 2020, he has been lodged at Central Jail Kot Balwal under PSA Order No. DMS/PSA/150 Dated 15/12/2020," it added.

"It is pertinent to mention here that he is the second drug peddler from Shalimar area to be booked under PSA in the recent past,". statement reads.

The public of the area appreciated the strict action by Srinagar Police against the drug peddlers, police said. (KNS).
