Police begin investigation into Al Huda Institute irregularities case

Baramulla, Nov 25 (KNS: Baramulla Police have initiated a preliminary inquiry into alleged financial and operational irregularities at the Al Huda Educational Institute.

In a statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), the police said that yhe inquiry has been registered under DDR No. 9 dated 24/11/2025 at Police Station Tangmarg after authorities received inputs suggesting possible violations of regulatory norms.

According to police, the institute is being examined for suspected violations of the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA), potential tax evasion due to incomplete financial records, and the absence of mandatory accreditation.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

"The building of the institute has also come under scrutiny for reportedly being constructed on state land without proper authorization, raising concerns of encroachment and procedural violations," it said.

Police said the inquiry is aimed at verifying the allegations and collecting relevant evidence before proceeding with further legal action.

The matter is currently under examination, and additional details are expected as the investigation advances.(KNS).
