Srinagar, Oct 14 (KNS): Police Wednesday arrested Jammu Kashmir National Front Chairman and Hurriyat leader, Nayeem Ahmad Khan aftere he was coming out of Hurriyat (G) Conference office at Hyderpora.
A Front spokesman said after participating in the Hurriyat Conference meeting police arrested Khan and took him to Joint Interrogation Centre (JIC) Humhama.
The spokesman strongly condemning the unnecessary arrest of Khan, saying that that Mufti Sayeed’s regime has directed police to silent all the opposite political voices.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Terming the arrest of Nayeem Ahmad Khan as an act of hooliganism at the hands of police, the spokesman said that arrests and restrictions cannot deter the pro-freedom leadership from raining their vioce.
He said that Khan’s arrest indicated that Mufti Sayeed’s so called government is at war with the genuine leadership of Kashmiris. (KNS)
