Anantnag, Nov 18 (KNS): Police on Friday arrested Tehreek-e-Hurriyat’s (TeH) district President Anantnag, Peer Hafizullah after he leads a pro-freedom protest in Hakoora village of Achabal area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
As soon as the as the Friday congregational prayers ended at Jamia Masjid in Hakoora, Hafizullah tried to lead a protest in the area during police arrived at the scene.

Reports said that Mir had organized several rallies during the ongoing uprising and was evading arrest for long.
They said that Police had raided his home several times to arrest him but he would manage to slip away.
Meanwhile, sources said that he was later lodged at Police Station.
Meanwhile, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Anantnag, Zubair Ahmad while talking to KNS correspondent, Tassaduq Rashid confirmed the arrest of Hafizullah. (KNS)
