Srinagar February 05:(KNS) On a reliable information provided by a diligent citizen, Nehru park Police post of Srinagar police led by SDPO Nehru Park Mansha Beig JKPS and IC PP Nehrupark raided a secret gaming location in a houseboat namely Royal Safeena and arrested Nine (09) gamblers.
From the site Stake money of Rs. 1,53,370/- was recovered and seized on the spot, and all the gamblers arrested.
In this connection case FIR No 11/2022, U/S 3&4 of Gambling Act has been registered at Police Station R.M.Bagh and investigation has been started.
This is in continuation of efforts of Srinagar Police to curb the social crimes and immoral activities. Citizens are requested to come forward and share information for eradication of same.(KNS)
