Baramulla, August 03 (KNS): Police have placed strict restrictions in place across the Police District and many vehicles have been seized for violating prohibitory orders issued by the administration in wake of spike in Covid-19 caseloads in the district.

According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), SDPO Uri Junaid Wali reiterated his request and appealed general public to follow the directions issued by Government in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

He further said that restrictions on all the picnic spots are in place and people have been advised to abstain from gathering at the picnic spots across Uri subdivision.

People have been appealed to respect the lockdown and display social responsibility. He also said that those found violating the restrictions will be dealt with strictly under law.(KNS)
