Srinagar, Oct 17 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested an militant associate from Pampore area of Awantipora

According to police statement issues to KNS reads, Police along with security forces have arrested a militant associate linked with proscribed terror outfit LeT in Pampore area of Awantipora.

Police has identified him Haris Shareef Rather resident of Zaffron Colony Pampore.

As per police statement, he was involved in providing shelter, logistic and other support to the LeT militants besides assisting active terrorists in transporting arms & ammunition in Pampore, Khrew and Kakapora areas.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Incriminating material has been recovered from his possession. All the recovered materials have been taken into case records for further investigation.

Accordingly, case FIR No. 84/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Pampore and investigation into the matter has been initiated.(KNS)
