Jammu, Feb 04 (KNS): Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd (PVPL) vehicles had inaugurated Jammu's first Electric Vehicle experience centre, Ansari Electrik Vehicles in the Jammu division.
According to a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS) the dealership was inaugurated by Jammu Mayor, Chander Mohan in the presence of Regional head North, Piaggio Vehicles, Khushvir Sharma, Dealer Principal Ansari Electrik Vehicles, Irfan
Ansari, and COO Ansari Electrik Vehicles Syed Shujat Ansari.
The statement reads that this is the company's first of its kind EV experience centre in Jammu and will allow customers to access Piaggio's entire range of electric vehicles.
Speaking on the occasion, Jammu Mayor Chander Mohan said that it gives him immense
pleasure to be here today to inaugurate Jammu's first of its kind EV Experience centre of Piaggio.
“With the Jammu Smart City subsidy policy coming into effect it is important for providing customers with electric vehicle options for them to make the shift. The state government of Jammu is committed to support the electric mobility ecosystem & working on various policy level initiatives to make the transition to EVs faster & hassle free,” he said.
EVP and Head of Commercial Vehicle Business, Piaggio India Pvt Ltd. Saju Nair said that they are happy to open our first EV exclusive showroom in Jammu and there is no better city than Jammu to start with.
