Srinagar November 19 (KNS): A delegation from the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry- Kashmir (PHDCCI) met with the Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir, Anshul Garg (IAS), for a comprehensive discussion on key issues affecting the region's development and business environment.
The delegation, led by Co-Chair Mr. Himayu Wani, included Nasir Shah, Shahid Khan, Er Owais Raja, and Deputy Director Iqbal Fayaz Jan.
During the meeting, the delegation raised several important matters for the administration's consideration, including:
· A review of the Master Plan and rationalization of Change of Land Use (CLU) charges.
· Measures to address persistent traffic congestion in the city.
· Controlling the stray dog menace for public safety.
· Support for the upcoming ATOAI Annual Convention to revive tourism.
· Administrative backing for the planned Kashmir International Trade Expo (KITEX) in 2026.
· Streamlining the process and validity of the Chemical Safety Certificate for schools.
· Addressing concerns regarding the operation of unregistered associations.
The delegation concluded by reaffirming its full support to the administration in implementing development initiatives for the prosperity of the region.
Divisional Commissioner Anshul Garg gave a patient hearing and assured the delegation that the issues presented would be reviewed for appropriate action.(KNS)
