Srinagar, Nov 09 (KNS): Progress Harmony Development Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) announced that it would involve ambassadors of 22 countries in March next year to dispel the negative image created against the valley throughout the world.
President, PHDCCI, Anil Kumar Khaitan said that the chamber in this regard will facilitate the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti’s interaction with these ambassadors.
“PHD chamber would launch ‘Ambassadors Club’ in which ambassadors of G20 countries are its members. We will invite Chief Minister to interact with these ambassadors in March to make them aware about reality if Kashmir,” he said.
Khaitan said that the world needs to know about the “unnecessary blowing up” of Kashmir situation. “We have to challenge the media by our quality work only. The chamber has constituted a media committee which would take up the issue confronted by the tourism stakeholders here,” he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Khaitan said that the chamber would also facilitate the state government and business community in particular for marketing in various regions of India.
“The state has the expertise and natural resources and it is high time to market it. The business chamber here can use PHD platform in state like Gujarat, Trivandrum, and Rajasthan in marketing their business,” he said.
While appreciating the PHD Chamber for expanding in Kashmir, leading hotelier and President PHD Chamber Kashmir, Mushtaq Chaya said that it is one more milestone for businessmen in the state.
Chaya said that the will extend its coordination with the valley businessmen for promotion of tourism and removing the hurdles for trade.
Other businessmen lauded the efforts of Chaya and thanked him for his strenous efforts in connecting them with PHD Chamber. (KNS)
